Who is Damocle?
Damocle is a young film production company, founded in 2021 by four talents from the Italian creative scene: Valerio Mastandrea, an award-winning actor and director; Michele Rech (Zerocalcare), a cult cartoonist and author; Francesco Tatò, an experienced executive producer; and Oscar Glioti, a writer, journalist, and editor.
The first feature film produced, Nonostante, was chosen to open the Orizzonti section of the 81st Venice International Film Festival. Damocle works on ambitious projects, involving both renowned authors and emerging artists.
Valerio Mastandrea
Valerio Mastandrea, actor, director, producer, and screenwriter, has won 4 David di Donatello awards. He made his directorial debut with "Ride" (2018) and his producing debut with "Non essere cattivo" (2015), earning numerous awards. Among his films: "Tutti giù per terra", "L'odore della notte", "Perfetti sconosciuti", "Fiore", "Euforia", "C’è ancora domani".
Michele Rech

One of the most beloved authors in the Italian and international comic scene. He wrote, directed, and voiced the animated series "Rebibbia Quarantine", "Strappare lungo i bordi", and "Questo mondo non mi renderà cattivo", which received great public and critical acclaim
Francesco Tatò
Executive producer with experience in auteur films such as "Non essere cattivo" and "Fiore", as well as in major series like "We Are Who We Are", directed by Luca Guadagnino, and "M - Il figlio del secolo" by Joe Wright.
Oscar Glioti
Writer, curator, and screenwriter, he has published the book "Fumetti di evasione" and contributed to the film "La profezia dell'armadillo". Senior editor at Coconino Press – Fandango.
